Field Trips and Home School Dates
An arboretum is a garden with a focus on trees. Our arboretum is so much more! With 7 natural trails and 13 different eco systems, we are the perfect place to learn about science and nature.
Please note that we have an admission price of $3/person – children under 3 are free. For Title One schools the rate is reduced to $1/person.
Tour guides are available based on availability and if a tour guide is provided for your group our admission charge is $5/person. If you would like a tour guide, please make the request in the form below in the “additional information” section.
Payment for your trip can be made through our website or on Venmo. If you use the admission box at the entrance, please put payment in an envelope with name of your group clearly marked.
All Field Trips and Home School dates must be pre-registered. (Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens reserves the right to cancel any trip due to safety concerns or weather).
Please fill out the form below.
Important things to consider when visiting the arboretum –
• Open-toed shoes are not recommended. Wear comfortable shoes for walking. You never know how far you will go!
• Please leave the trails and gardens in the condition you found it or better!
• Never pick flowers or leaves – look with your eyes not your hands. Take a picture if you see something special and keep that as a memory of your adventure with us!
Also, for more fun in the Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, please check out our Discovering Nature Nearby programs designed with classes and activities that are fun and educational.
